Located on a high cliff in Corsica Island, this holiday home with swimming pool is conceived as a device to watch the sea according to different views. A number of loopholes and large windows, in fact, allow you to enjoy the panoramic views in different ways; glimpses or large and generous views towards the sea and the horizon. The project therefore insists both on a constant alternation of solids and voids and on a surfaces work that follow each other in a horizontal trend. From opaque surfaces behind which lie the bedrooms and services, to transparent areas up to pierced surfaces that surround the living spaces. Following the longitudinal development of the cliff, the house is distributed on one level. It lies on the rock and fits into the context through materials –local rock, concrete and glass-that interact with the landscape dominated by the Mediterranean Sea.
